Green Gives the Autumn Ridge a Sales Edge in the Marketplace
Starcraft's Autumn Ridge travel trailers have been "green certified", making Starcrafts one of the first manufacturers of campers recognized for building products with green manufacturing processes and matrials. The Autumn Ridge recieve a Gold-Rated green certification from TRA Certification, Inc., an internationall acreddited certification organization.
Each Autmn Ridge trailer will carry a special badge indicating its certificatation status. The certification seal provides all dealers with another way to differentiate the Autmn Ridge from competition and shows customers the value that Starcraft and its dealers place on preserving our environment with certifiable best practices and materials.
Among other things, Starcraft was cited for its use of sustainable materials, waster reduction and recycling programs, reduction of harmful volatile compounds found in camper components such as carpeting, wood parts, adhesives, etc., installation of efficient appliances and fixtures, use of energy-efficeitn design and construction and utilization of renewable, clean energy.
Autumn Ridge is the first of several Starcraft product lines to be audited over the next several mopnths by TRA Certification. TRA provides a third-party evaluation of manufacturing processes and materials that applies a set of consensus green standards equally to all camper and RV manufactueres.
